Many members have now started to make use of either the Registration button or the Not Attending button which are being sent out with most invitation emails to our events.
The Registration button (works with most computer/browser setups) is a much faster way to register for most events.
The Not Attending button serves two purposes. 1) It removes you from any further emails for the event (less clutter in your inbox) and 2) it positively confirms to us that you will not be attending.
This year has seen a marked increase in the number of people who register online along with a significant decrease in the numbers of people who "just show up" to an event. Our event organizers thank you.
While most of our events are able to accommodate unannounced participants, it greatly assists the organizers for the event if they have accurate numbers before the event - especially when there is food involved or when the destination facility needs a head count.
