“Autumn Colours” Car Run
The run will be partly across the valley and partly up in the hillsides.
The route is shown on the attached map.
Whilst the start is shown at the Mt. Cheam Golf Course in Chilliwack and will be at 10:30am, the route is out via Lepp’s Farm Market on Route 11, so cars from Abbotsford and west could join there if they wish – and can be there for 11:00am.
The distance is approx 110km or 70 miles and should be run in around 2hours.
The lunch destination is dependent on the sign-up numbers…. If there are no more than 20 persons, then the Legends Bistro at the Cultus Lake Golf Club can accommodate us - good food and there’s plenty of parking…. and if there are 20+, then it’ll be Duke’s Country Pub on Yale and Chadsey in Chilliwack – also good food and parking.
So, come along for some fun driving to enjoy the autumn colours around our very own Fraser and Columbia valleys.
Given the need to confirm for lunch numbers, the sign-up cut-off will be 10AM on Wednesday, 27 September.
Please respect this.
Note: If you want to come on the run, but do not want to stay for lunch, please register online in the usual way and advise if you’ll be single or accompanied then also send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org to advise not staying for lunch.
