FVBMC's First Scheduled run for 2016
Sandpiper Run

Date: Saturday, 2 April

Meet at Tim Horton's near the Best Western Hotel on Lickman Road, Chilliwack
from 10:00am for a 10:30am start.

Route: Up, up and away around Chilliwack Mountain, along the N. Parallel to the exit 109 overpass and then down across the Sumas prairie to Whatcom Road. Turn North and up over the hills to get to Route 11 for Mission. Turn East on Route 7 to Harrison Mills and stop at the River's Edge Restaurant at the Sandpiper Golf Course where a pre-arranged 3-choice lunch main dish + a fruit with ice cream dessert and tea/coffee or soft drink will be available for $25 including taxes and gratuity.

After lunch, and perhaps a wander down to the water's edge at this very picturesque site, it'll be on to Agassiz and back to Chilliwack via Rosedale Ferry Road and Fairfield Island to Young Road to end at the Lickman Road Tim Horton's. The overall run would be around 120km.

For the pre-arranged lunch, the choice of main dishes is:

 Legendary Roast Beef  Yorkie

Giant Yorkshire pudding stuffed with tender shaved prime rib with mashed potatoes & gravy

Fish & Chips
Beer batter salmon, sweet chilli vinegar slaw,
pickle tartar

Sandpiper Chef Salad

Artichoke Hearts, Tomatoes, Crisp Apple, Agassiz Hazelnuts, Red Onion, Cheddar, Mozzarella, Fresh Greens, Dried Cranberries, Bacon,
Chipotle Apple Ranch Dressing, Crostini

We need to advise the restaurant how many people plan to have this lunch. So, if you wish to partake, please e-mail Michael Hamilton-Clark at by noon, 31 March to advise the main dish choice for you and your passenger, if you'll be having one.

Using the pre-arranged meal is economic compared to 'A la Carte' and will ensure quick service. Items from the daily menu can be ordered, but be advised that service can take 20-25 minutes.
